Biography:
My life goal is to become a social entrepreneur and create a network of democratic workplaces and schools that contribute to the sustainable socio-economic development of my home country, Macedonia. In the past couple of years, I have been privileged to attend prestigious universities in the United States where I have been exposed to many ideas about economic development and entrepreneurship initiatives that I find relevant in fulfilling the objectives of my goal. For example, I learned how democratic enterprises build resilient communities, such as the Mondragon cooperatives in northern Spain. In the past ten years I lived in six different countries, Macedonia, the Netherlands, United States, Argentina, Spain, and Puerto Rico. From the experiences of living, studying, and working abroad, I learned to speak both English and Spanish fluently. I also learned to be comfortable in new places and I am highly adaptable.
